How Important is Security and Resilience?

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

It’s no secret that our prices are designed to upset our competitors. Pricing however is just one service aspect you should look for, and arguably to most, not the most important factor. At a time when others are keen to show of their shiny new data centres, and other “bank owned/loaned/funded” infra-strcutre its worth pointing out how our network works and more importantly how its paid for.

The core of our wireless network is based in Communications House, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas. This location was no accident. We chose it for it’s great connectivity, unbeatable physical security (there is a permanently manned police station onsite) and excellent wireless coverage from the sites 45 meter telecoms mast.

We also have a wide geographic spread of PoPs, and currently we are the only fixed wireless operator with a base on Snaefell. Our same commitment to quality and security applies to all sites. Access into equipment rooms is strictly controlled and audited at all sites.

Our network has been built on initial private investment, and continues to expand based on profits generated by our existing operations. We have no outstanding financing on any of our next generation network. Ask your current supplier this uncomfortable question and see what response it generates.

Ask yourself what you’re looking for in a communications company. Our pricing is the lowest, but we also passionately believe our network is the best. Our costs are kept low through efficient network design and the use of our own off-island interconnections.

If you need any further reassurance we offer a full SLA on all our business wireless products. I would welcome any customers of existing ISP’s, both fixed and wireless to get in touch and see how we can cut your costs dramatically and enhance your current offering.

Very best,
